United Roads Pty Ltd
recognises that the Health and Safety of all it’s staff is a
primary responsibility.
United Roads Pty Ltd will at
all times maintain, so far as is practicable, a working environment
that is safe and without risks to health and one that includes the
following objectives.
- Provision and maintenance of
safe plant and systems of work.
- Provision of systems that
will make and monitor arrangements for the safe use, handling
storage and transport of plant and substances.
- The maintenance of the
workplace in a safe and healthy condition.
- Provision of adequate
facilities and protective equipment for all staff.
- Provision of information,
training and supervision for all staff to enable them to work in a
safe and healthy manner.
The Managing Directors are
responsible to United Roads Pty Ltd for the implementation and
monitoring of this policy. However, each staff member of United
Roads Pty Ltd has a duty to assist in maintaining a safe and
healthy place of work.
To this end, Project Managers,
Construction Managers, Co-ordinators and staff are responsible for
the implementation of the United Roads Pty Ltd Occupational Health
and Safety Policy.
